The name “TravelBlog” is a play on the name of our church family: Sojourn Community Church.

A sojourn is a trek, a quest. A journey from bondage to freedom, from darkness to light, made possible by the grace of God through His Son, Jesus Christ. Like the ancient children of Israel, like the writers of the Gospels, Acts and the epistles, we tell the story of God's work in our lives while we travel.

Announcing The Sojourn Network

Pastor Brian Howard

Perhaps you’ve already encountered or heard about the Sojourn Network on Twitter, on Facebook or elsewhere.  This church planting network is our attempt to more aggressively facilitate the planting of churches in the U.S. and beyond.  I recently interviewed our Pastor of Teaching, Leadership & Church Multiplication Brian Howard.  In this 7-minute interview, you’ll learn:

  • What exactly is the Sojourn Network?
  • What does this mean for our relationship with the Acts 29 Network?  Are we still in Acts 29?
  • How does a church planter become part of the Sojourn Network?
  • Why should they consider joining the Sojourn Network?
  • What is the long range vision for this initiative?
