The name “TravelBlog” is a play on the name of our church family: Sojourn Community Church.

A sojourn is a trek, a quest. A journey from bondage to freedom, from darkness to light, made possible by the grace of God through His Son, Jesus Christ. Like the ancient children of Israel, like the writers of the Gospels, Acts and the epistles, we tell the story of God's work in our lives while we travel.

Communty Group “Adopts” Youth Shelter

Inside Sojourn podcast

Hear this five-minute interview with Miguel Monroy, one of Sojourn’s growing number of Indiana community group leaders.  Miguel’s group is regularly serving the New Albany Youth Shelter.  From the Youth Shelter website:

Sometimes the kids arrive because “home” isn’t such a good place to be. Sometimes they are brought because they’ve missed too much school, or the disagreements at home are out of control … The Youth Shelter provides residential care after a referral from the Department of Child Services or Juvenile Probation.

Learn:

  • how Miguel’s community group ended up serving in this way
  • the different ways these Sojourners are caring for the youth
  • how you or your community group can get involved

Hear the story of how God is working through these Sojourners who are part of our upcoming New Albany campus. You can listen directly here, or download this new interview for free from our Inside Sojourn podcast at one of the links below.
