Getting Ready For Sunday: How To Prepare For Our Christmas 2010 Service This Sunday
We’ve journeyed through four Sundays of Advent. And this Sunday, we celebrate the fulfillment of that season — the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. While we look back on His birth, we revel in the assurance of His return. Bring your family, your friends, your neighbor, your co-workers … maybe even the paper boy. Christmas time’s a’comin’.
We’ll also conclude a four week series on the book of Revelation, a year-long study of the New Testament, and a two-year journey through all 66 books of the Holy Bible. Our pastor will teach from Revelation 22, the cry of St. John and the cry of every Christian: “Come, Lord Jesus.”
Songs we’ll sing together include Glory Be and Hosanna In The Highest from our Advent Songs record, and several other Christmas songs including:
- Silent Night
- Angels We Have Heard On High
- God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen
- Mary, Mary
Peace on earth, good will to men. See you Sunday.
