Getting Ready For Sunday: How To Prepare For Sojourn Gathered, 12-11-2011

This Sunday is the third Sunday of Advent, 2011. We’ll continue to gather together and express our longing and hope for the Messiah, Jesus Christ, who came in a manger and will come again.

We’ll also continue with Noah, one of the most famous characters in the Bible and the history of the world, as part of our Genesis sermon series. Our pastor will preach from Gen 9:8-28.

This section describes the promise God made to mankind after the flood, and Noah’s near-immediate sin after the floodwaters receded. Read it this weekend and pray for the Spirit’s illumination as we study it together Sunday.
