The name “TravelBlog” is a play on the name of our church family: Sojourn Community Church.

A sojourn is a trek, a quest. A journey from bondage to freedom, from darkness to light, made possible by the grace of God through His Son, Jesus Christ. Like the ancient children of Israel, like the writers of the Gospels, Acts and the epistles, we tell the story of God's work in our lives while we travel.

Getting Ready For Sunday: How To Prepare For Sojourn Gathered, 6-3-2012

Since last fall we’ve traveled together through the first book in the Bible, Genesis. And now, we’ve got just two sermons left. Join us this Sunday as our pastor walks us through Genesis 44-45:3 — the story of the Silver Cup. It’s an intriguing, drama-filled story that displays, once again, God’s guiding hand in the lives of his people.

This is also Trinity Sunday, which occurs annually one week after Pentecost Sunday. Our Lead Pastor Daniel Montgomery wrote about Trinity Sunday earlier this week and provided links for his three favorite books about the doctrine of the Trinity. Read his Trinity Sunday post here.
