Getting Ready For Sunday: How To Prepare For Sojourn Gathered, April 3, 2011

We continue our March toward Good Friday and Easter this Sunday, as our pastors will take us deeper into Romans 8. This week, as last, we’ll learn about adoption — God’s adoption of us into his family, through the sacrifice of Christ. It’s popular for people to say “We are all God’s children,” but the Bible teaches that although we are all God’s creation — made in his image — we are actually born in sin, enemies of God. We become sons and daughters of God only through grace, by faith. Come Sunday to hear about this.

We’ll also have Easter Invite Cards for you, so you can pass them out to friends, family, coworkers and neighbors. Non-Christians and those who have grown away from church are often more willing to come to a service on Easter than any other day, so make the most of that opportunity.
