Getting Ready For Sunday: How To Prepare For The 10th Anniversary Service At Sojourn Gathered
Last week during Baptism Sunday (see many pics from the East and Midtown campuses here) our pastor continued in the “What Is The Church” series with Mark This! a sermon from 2 Timothy 3:17.
If you missed it or want to hear it again, you can do so now in the Resource section here at sojournchurch.com. You can also listen in the Sojourn Church section of the Acts 29 Network’s free iPhone app, or in the free Sojourn Church iTunes podcast.
This week we’ll hear a sermon from Titus 2:1-10. This passage speaks specifically to women and men, young and old, bosses and the bossed. Meditate on it this weekend, and come to Sojourn Gathered ready to receive the message the Holy Spirit laid on our pastor’s heart.
Of course you know that we’ll be celebrating the 10th Anniversary of Sojourn this weekend, with parties at all campuses. You can scarf up some good Tex-Mex food at these times:
- after the 10am services at Sojourn East and J-Town
- after the 11:15 service at Midtown
- at 4pm, before the 5pm service at Midtown
In addition, you can take part in the coolest cereal party ever at 8:15am, before the 9am Midtown service, and you can shake your party bones in our dance party at 8:30, after the 7pm service at Midtown.
But it isn’t just the 10th Anniversary of Sojourn Community Church. It’s also the public launch of Sojourn J-Town.
If you live in our near J-Town, why not be a part of this big day? And we’ve heard from many of you who have said, “I have family in J-Town,” or coworkers and friends. If so, we hope you’ll tell them about Sojourn J-Town (11412 Taylorsville Road, 40299), and even offer to go with them to the service. It’s very easy to find, right off Taylorsville Road.
