God Gave Financial Summit Preview: Investing
On Saturday October 29th at our Midtown campus, we’ll be holding a series of breakout classes designed to help you grow in the everyday management your finances. This event will be a practical extension of part one of the God Gave sermon series our pastors just completed (if you missed any of these sermons, you can listen to them here). There will be something offered for everyone, whether you are in need of some basic budgeting guidance, have questions on insurance, taxes, basic investing, or would like to learn about some more advanced topics on personal investing and taxation of small businesses (to sign-up, click here). For the next two weeks, we’ll be previewing some of the breakout sessions and their instructors.
Two of the classes offered will focus on the topic of personal investing, taught by Sojourn member, Ben Hoehler. Ben is currently the Director of Investments for Gilliam, Mease, & Associates. He has earned the professional designation of CRPC (Charted Retirement Planning Counselor), and is currently working towards attaining the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) certification. Ben serves as a non-staff board member on Sojourn’s Finance Committee. He is a native of Louisville, and resides in Old Louisville with his wife, Amy, and son, Martin.
