God Gave Financial Summit Preview: Taxes & Small Business Finance
On Saturday October 29th at our Midtown campus, we’ll be holding a series of breakout classes designed to help you grow in the everyday management your finances. This event will be a practical extension of part one of the God Gave sermon series our pastors just completed (if you missed any of these sermons, you can download them here). There will be something offered for everyone, whether you are in need of some basic budgeting guidance, have questions on insurance, taxes, basic investing, or would like to learn about some more advanced topics on personal investing and taxation of small businesses (to sign-up, click here). For the next two weeks, we’ll be previewing some of the breakout sessions and their instructors.
Joyce Smith will be instructing two breakout classes on the topics of personal taxes and small business financial issues. Joyce is a partner in the CPA firm, Ecken & Smith here in Louisville. She specializes in taxation, accounting and management services for small to medium sized businesses. She also directs the firm’s eldercare practice, which is designed to help provide financial assurance/care for elderly people no longer able to live independently. Joyce is a member of Cedar Creek Baptist Church and resides in Middletown with her husband, Mark. They have three children; Heather, Lindsey, and Jesse.
