The name “TravelBlog” is a play on the name of our church family: Sojourn Community Church.

A sojourn is a trek, a quest. A journey from bondage to freedom, from darkness to light, made possible by the grace of God through His Son, Jesus Christ. Like the ancient children of Israel, like the writers of the Gospels, Acts and the epistles, we tell the story of God's work in our lives while we travel.

Photo Blog: East Campus 10th Anniversary Celebration

This past Sunday, we celebrated the 10th Anniversary of Sojourn’s public launch, across our campuses.  Check out this photo blog, courtesy Rusty Robbins, from our East Campus party:

East B
Volunteers worked hard to make this a welcoming event, doing everything from decorating tables …

East 6
To hanging signs.

East 5
What’s a party without balloons?

East 3
Or Bouncy Castle?

East 1
Or lots of friends and neighbors?

One more East
Two integral parts of Christian life that often go unheralded: sitting around a table …

East A
And walking together

East C
This little engaged couple spent a lot of time coordinating the setup and decorations …

East 2
So everyone could have a good time.

East 4
And this campus, just over one year old itself (and already close to 500-strong), celebrating the tenth year of Sojourn in style.
