Photo Blog: East Campus Beautification Project

On Sunday, April 25th, members of Sojourn East gathered together with Campus Director, Jamie Barnes and Director of Operations, Jon Estes, along with members of St. Bernadette (who used to worship at our current East Campus) to participate in the East Campus Beautification Project. Immediately after the service, they gathered for pizza, sodas, and fellowship. Despite the projected bad weather, they decided to head outside. There were over twenty adults and ten kids.

We edged, pulled weeds, trimmed bushes, and raked leaves. Just one afternoon’s worth of work made a big difference.

Despite a round of down-pouring rain, members of both Sojourn East and St. Bernadette remained to clean up the last bit of items. We were blessed by the presence of folks from St. Bernadette and we were able to graciously extend a measure of hospitality back by giving away some Sojourn Music CDs.
