The name “TravelBlog” is a play on the name of our church family: Sojourn Community Church.

A sojourn is a trek, a quest. A journey from bondage to freedom, from darkness to light, made possible by the grace of God through His Son, Jesus Christ. Like the ancient children of Israel, like the writers of the Gospels, Acts and the epistles, we tell the story of God's work in our lives while we travel.

In this series of short videos, I walk through various parts of the 2009 Sojourn Fall Festival, 30 minutes before the Festival begins. Walk through the Affordable Art Show exhibitor space with 930 Gallery Director Michael Winters, as he talks about the many things you can find at this art show:

Talk with the balloon volunteers, who decorated festival space with 400 balloons, and watch one of them break forth into dance while holding a balloon bouquet:

And in this one you’ll see preparations for my favorite part of the Fall Festival: the food. Notice that these videos are starting to end with me saying “That’s disturbing.” People are having so much fun, they’re freaking me out:
