Sojourn has thrown out a lot of number projections, stats and tangible goals so far this year during our vision campaign. And churches all over the world conduct capital campaigns, membership drives, evangelistic rallies, youth camps and other events, ministries and outreach efforts. “Numbers” play a part in the publicizing and reporting of these efforts.

Is this wrong? Is it right? Are there dangers, and how do we avoid them? What does the Bible say? Does Sojourn sometimes “get it wrong,” and have to change course?
