The name “TravelBlog” is a play on the name of our church family: Sojourn Community Church.

A sojourn is a trek, a quest. A journey from bondage to freedom, from darkness to light, made possible by the grace of God through His Son, Jesus Christ. Like the ancient children of Israel, like the writers of the Gospels, Acts and the epistles, we tell the story of God's work in our lives while we travel.

Watch The Full Sojourn Meeting/Q&A Session On Multi Campus Expansion Here!

Last week Sojourn’s catalytic leadership team — Teaching Pastor Daniel Montgomery, Worship & Arts Pastor Mike Cosper and Director of Operations Bryce Butler — hosted an open meeting and Q&A session about the upcoming launch of our second Louisville church campus (St. Matthews) and called for a simultaneous rededication to the neighborhood of The 930 Art Center, Germantown.

You can now watch this video in its entirety, here, and freely embed it into your own blogs.  We encourage those of you who could not attend the meeting to watch it, and to spread it to all Sojourn members and attenders, and anyone who would be interested.

Also, as you’ll hear on the video, we are launching a five week series of training on Sunday, June 7 for anyone interested in being a part of “The Midwives,” our core leadership team for the St. Matthews and Germantown campuses.  We’ll hold these workshops in the 930 Listening Room over five consecutive Sundays at 11:15 am.  Please consider stepping up to help us be better neighbors and carriers of the gospel in St. Matthews, Germantown and other areas of Louisville and Southern Indiana.

Great stuff. We are in a rural growing church planted in 2000 in Southern Maine. There are many small towns in our region with no Gospel witness. We are praying about the possibility of starting multiple campuses in some of these towns where we have attenders and eventually seeing them become thriving multiplying churches. I would love to see the materials that you are teaching your mid-wives. I would also love more information on your Pastors School. Thanks
