The name “TravelBlog” is a play on the name of our church family: Sojourn Community Church.

A sojourn is a trek, a quest. A journey from bondage to freedom, from darkness to light, made possible by the grace of God through His Son, Jesus Christ. Like the ancient children of Israel, like the writers of the Gospels, Acts and the epistles, we tell the story of God's work in our lives while we travel.

It doesn’t matter whether you’re a J-Town Sojourner, East, Midtown or New Albany. Next Monday the 13th, all Sojourn women (and any of your lady friends who are interested) you can attend the first Women On Mission evening at the Midtown Campus. Learn about the desperate need for the gospel around the world and get excited about the involvement of Sojourn women in what God is doing among the nations.

And here’s the thing that I’d like to crash this party for: you’ll have dessert, tea, and coffee from different countries, while you hear about what Sojourn women are doing overseas and you pray for our sisters around the world.
